Pink Flowers
About this painting: I painted this watercolor about a year ago and there were some areas that I didn't like so I reworked it. Yes, you can go back into a watercolor and rework areas either lighting or darkening,
When rework your paintings they can become muddy and dull, so preserving the luminous qualities of transparent watercolour is the hardest part. You can dip the paintbrush in water and gently paint over areas that have bled into other areas. This can "soften" the bleeding.Taking a clean paper towel and drying up the extra moisture and paint will remove most of the color. Let it dray and you are ready to paint over it.
