There are several things to watch for when painting with watercolors and controlling the flow of paint. 1) - THE AMOUNT OF WATER IN YOUR BRUSH. This is a very important thing to watch for. You should always (or almost always) start with a clean, slightly moist brush. If you have just washed your brush in your water pail, you should dry it on a piece of absorbent cotton rag or paper. If you're outside, you can flick it to remove excess water. However, flicking your brush when painting indoors can create some problems. I also Use a test strip of watercolor paper to make sure the paint flows the way I want it to. Happy Pigs 9x12 Click here to buy All Work ©2006-2015 Art by Delilah
